Adam was our outstanding chauffeur and guide for four lovely days of touring the countryside and villages of the Cotswolds. From my initial contact with Adam, he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He crafted an itinerary for us that reflected our interests in art, history, and gardening. Each day was a delight as Adam shared the best of the region in Spring. The countryside was as beautiful as the villages, and Adam made frequent stops so we could take photographs of scenes for future paintings. He was an excellent driver and chose routes that allowed us to see the most scenic aspects of the region. The car was very comfortable, and thanks to Adam, we had one of the best trips of our lives. We truly appreciate our time with you and your services - you are the ultimate professional! I am hoping to be in touch in the future for another visit to the area.

Your personal chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel in the Cotswolds and take you to the places agreed on your schedule. But of course we can be flexible on the day, spending more time in the places you enjoy and less in those you don’t.

The benefit of being chauffeur driven is that you can visit many of the hidden treasures and secret villages that the larger tours cannot access. You choose the day’s schedule, depending on your tastes and interests. It could be shopping, secret villages, Cotswolds Gardens, a country pub lunch, afternoon tea, visiting historic manor houses, or enjoying the fantastic views and countryside. Whatever you want to see, we can help arrange a unique custom tour to suit you.

Customised private tour suggestions include:

Oxford, Blenheim Palace & Woodstock

Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. Blenheim Palace is home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting a long and diverse history. Woodstock is a historic town next door to Blenheim and just north of Oxford. It grew up as a coach stop around the Royal Hunting Lodge, which later became the site of Blenheim Palace.

Burford

Burford is a medieval town on the River Windrush in the Cotswold Hills in West Oxfordshire, England. It is often referred to as the 'gateway' to the Cotswolds. Burford’s famous High Street sweeps downhill towards the River Windrush. Burford is popular with visitors, both for its beauty and history but also for its shopping, especially antiques, and for the wide variety of places to eat, with restaurants, pubs and teashops.

Bibury

Bibury is a village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. Overlooking a water meadow and the river is Arlington Row, a group of ancient cottages with steeply pitched roofs dating back to the 16th Century. It is a major destination for tourists visiting the traditional rural villages, tea houses and many historic buildings of the Cotswold District.

Broadway Tower

Broadway Tower is a unique tower open to visitors wanting to experience great English heritage in an inspiring location. It is one of England’s outstanding viewpoints and at 1024 feet (312m) above sea level. It is the second highest point on the Cotswold escarpment with unrivalled views. You can survey an expanse of a 62 mile radius and as many as 16 Counties. With Graphic displays on three floors, roof viewing platform and Tower Shop are a must for Cotswold visits.

Chipping Campden

Chipping Campden is a small market town in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England. It is notable for its elegant terraced High Street, dating from the 14th century to the 17th century. Chipping Campden was one of the most important of the medieval wool towns and famous throughout Europe. This legacy of fame and prosperity is everything that gives the town its character.

Bourton-on-the-Water

Bourton-on-the-Water straddles the river Windrush with its series of elegant low bridges beside neat tree-shaded greens and tidy stone banks. Standing back from the river are traditional Cotswolds buildings, many of which are now tourist shops for day-trippers and visitors. Bourton-on-the-Water has been described as the 'Little Venice' of the Cotswolds and is one of the most popular tourist spots in the region being serviced by the many shops, cafes, and attractions.

Stow on the Wold

With its grand manors and gardens, quaint cottages and quiet backwaters, ancient woodlands and rolling hills, Stow is the quintessential Cotswold town, just waiting to be discovered.

Moreton-on-Marsh

Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the principal market towns in the northern Cotswolds.  It grew up in the thirteenth century as a market town with a wide main street, narrow burgage plots and back lanes. There still is a busy Tuesday market with about 200 stalls attracting many visitors.

Our journey with Adam began when he picked us up from Heathrow and took us to our hotel in the Cotswolds. The following day he picked us up and served as a fabulous guide and wonderful driver for 8 hours and 5 stops through the Cotswolds region , a trip that he planned with us ahead of time. We had a fabulous day and had exactly the Cotswolds experience we were hoping for. He also provided great dinner suggestions for our area and then on our third day expertly transported us to London with a 2 hour stop in Oxford . We highly recommend him as a driver and guide

Adam gave us the most marvellous tour through the Cotswolds. He made our trip unforgettable! He picked us up in Burford and the magic began. He toured us through Daylesford, Stow on Wold, Burton on Water, Bibury, Woodstock, Blenheim Palace, and other off the beaten path villages. Adam is amiable, knowledgeable and a pure pleasure to spend time with. He then returned us to central London and we were sad when the day was over. We are now looking forward to booking Stratford on Avon with Adam
